All massages are supervised by clinical staff. Students who perform massage services are both male and female. In accordance with federal law, we do not allow gender discrimination when we provide massage services in our clinic. Please do not ask for a therapist who is a specific gender when scheduling appointments. Also, please be aware that your appointment may be moved to a different therapist's scheduled if you have not specifically requested a particular student by name.
Types of Bodywork
Swedish Massage is the most well known style of massage in the world. Students utilize techniques such as gliding, kneading, friction, joint movement and percussion. Benefits for clients include relaxation, reduced muscular tension, and an increased sense of well-being. This therapy is performed on a massage table with the client unclothed and fully draped to ensure privacy.
Sports Massage is a vigorous, athletically oriented-massage used for loosening tight muscles and increasing range of motion. Ideal for the person who is athletically-minded or for someone who has a muscle problem.
Shiatsu is a Japanese bodywork incorporating stretching, compression, and acupressure to increase flexibility. This therapy is performed full-clothed client on a floor mat.
Foot Reflexology is an ancient art of healing. The session is one hour of foot massage to relax the whole body. This massage is performed on a chair or a table with the client fully clothed or in conjunction with another type of massage.

Our supervised clinic operates by appointment only, and because of this, we ask a 24-hour notice of cancellation. We want our students to be well-rounded in their education opportunities. Accurate scheduling is important. Therefore, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time. Being late for an appointment will limit the time for your treatment. Your appointment will end on time so that the next client is not delayed. The student clinic is open year-round.
